A Musical Landscape - 'Gleann Cholmcille'

Theresa Boyle
Theresa, like all the Carr children, learned
to play melodeon in the back bedroom of the home house. She often played
at dances in Mín an Aoire , where she would take over from
Mícheál and Eamonn, allowing the boys out for a dance. As a young girl
she got great enjoyment from playing a duet along with her brother,
Mícheál on the fiddle. She married Hugh Boyle and settled in his home
townland of Abhainn tSeiscinne , where she still resides.
